Comfort

If you are alive, you have no doubt been in a place where you felt low, like you were digging your way out of a hole and needed a hand to pull you out or maybe a cheering squad to keep you fighting your way through. Or maybe you just need a hug. I hope these scriptures bring you peace and hope. Consider this the cheering squad and a big hug from me to you all rolled into one!

I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

The Lord appeared to us in the past. He said, "I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. I have kept on loving you with a faithful love." Jeremiah 31:3

God has said to me, "My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak." 2 Corinthians 12:9

I will talk to the Father, and he'll provide you another Friend so that you will always have someone with you. This Friend is the Spirit of Truth. The godless world can't take him in because it doesn't have eyes to see him, doesn't know what to look for. But you know him already because he has been staying with you, and will even be in you! John 14:16-18
