Funbite Review and Giveaway!

I am so excited today to be reviewing Funbites food cutters for my first ever product giveaway. I recently received this product to sample and to offer in a giveaway to one of my lucky blog followers. FunBites is a kitchen tool that cuts any kids food into bite-sized fun shapes.

There are currently two styles available and I opted to try the square shaped cutting tool. My first impression on opening the box was how sturdy it was. It is well made and and easy to use. I immediately got to work testing it on various ingredients I had on hand from bread to lettuce and even lunch meat. It tends to work best on softer items, although, I did get it to cut through lunch meat almost completely.

I set about to find something to make for my kids with all these fun little squares. So, I decided to create mini tiles for building a mosaic... thus, the many cups of different goodies you see below. (The carrots were not cut with the Funbites tool.)

The kids loved this idea and set right to work making pictures. We also decided to pair this wonderful lunch with some mosaic making. I cut pictures from a magazine and my daughter and I each worked on making a picture.

After using my Funbites cutter, I would highly recommend it for soft foods like fruit, melon, cheese and bread. I think it would be a nice addition to your kitchen if you have toddlers as it cuts things in perfect bite-sized pieces.
